I was wiring up my headlamp and digital speedo the other day and got thinking about the wiring and what most of it is for. I had a look through Stickys book and all the diagrams are there.....but....I have no idea what any of the wiring is for and how and what and anything...Is there any diagram or topic that tells you what wire is for what etc ???????
Cheers
Bizz

it's bit of a vague question, and most bikes have been pulled about over the years that you couldn't ever state categorically that the red wire does this for that...
even from the factory different colurs were used over the years... nevermind the repairs made in sheds using bits of household flex...
what sort of answer were you looking for...

Just curious as to what all the wires were used for....I plug them in to the colour coded holder, but haven't got a clue as to what does what....saying that, I've just found out that the white wire works the horn
