I have just stripped my engine to fit a malossi kit, I will be porting the casings to match. The engine is new to me and on looking at the gerabox config it appears to have a standard p125 gearbox ( i beleive same as T5 ? ) and has a Malossi upgera kit in it 23 x 64.
Would this configuration work with the kit, i am going to use the P200,T5 carb and an expansion pipe.
If it is overgeared, woudl fitting a 22 or 21 tooth clutch gear in there work, and is it just a case of swapping it.

I ran my 166 with std 125 gearing and a 23/65 primary and PM pipe. Went well.
A 21 or 22 clutch wont mesh with a Malossi primary.
Go with a P2 carb, not T5.
Was bike kitted before? Dont know why anyone would fit a Malossi 23/64 kit.

I don't know anything about the engine or in fact if it is a Malossi up gear kit, I just counted the teeth on the gears, what would you advise are my options to make it more rideable
