Indicators series 1

2 days in the shed with an angle grinder and some billet aluminium.
The trick now is to do the other side and them look the same.
Wiring done and series 1 light switch modified to give left and right indicators, dip and horn with the rest from an ignition switch. The flasher has a beeper (loud) and I'm using the repeater LEDs on the digital speedo.
You get DC and the world is your oyster

It was prides comments on this thread that gave me the impetus to have a go. It was my understanding that you had to swap a very important body part to get hold of the German ones so I thought I would have a go.
Looking again do the German ones use a standard bar end indicator as thats what I went for. As long as yours are more than GBP45 I should be OK. Are these for sale?
They also looked as though the leggies would need drilling and I was hoping not to do this, using a clamp round the rubber. In the end I had to have one small bolt to get a good ground.
In hindsight the curved part on the front could have been smaller but I also liked the ones on this other thread

Mine came from the German club and they use the. Bar end ones like you have used they were considerably more than that as well also you have to drill 2 mounting holes for them as well
