Red/white side car rig in Scootering

This is the only picture I have. Taken in the shed at Suffolk County Council yard, Woodbridge.
So here's the skinny:
I was hitch hiking back from somewhere and was talking to the man who had given me a lift man about scooters. He said he had one for sale that had been hand built by a person that worked at British Aerospace. The body on the scoot was all ali., riveted together. The hack was wood.
We struck a deal.
Coupla' weeks later, I got the funds together and hitched out to his house to pick it up. Also bought something else from him that was good for the head

Thrashed it around for a while locally and to Southend chasing a lady friend

Ended up selling/swapping it to Dibsy, from Great Yarmouth(you out there Dibsy?), for 150$ and a pair of GP panels, if memory serves.
It had foot operated throttle, clutch, gears on a lever, and a handbrake(emergency brake) on the handlebars. It wasn't a "Special" in the true Lambretta sense of the word. Either a 61 or 62.
Dibsy, can you confirm this please, if you are watching.
What a laugh that thing was
