work so far,
Black from stator to the 2 white wires in loom.
blue from stator to the two black in loom /to varitronic type regulator(replacing rectifier)
Green from reg/rect to switch.
red from old coil disconnected from switch.
yellow from switch cut and looped to remaining red at switch.
I think, now i can run everything from either AC or DC (except the horn)
I now have two spare wire's(red & yellow)runing from bar's to engine.
The problem now is i need to sort the ignition kill.
The Question is ,will i need to fit a separate kill switch or can the original switch be rewired?

My gs,s stator has just broke so am looking for a way to fix it, does this mean that you have fitted a px flywheel and stator onto your original engine or have you fitted an entire px engine in your gs ? cheers
