Just wondered if a standard Ducati regulator with the battery feed will be enough to run a Bosch VW water pump and a Honda superbike fan or would the battery (5.5 amp/h) not get enough charge?

Thats what I wanted to know really but on a Vespa I'm not too bothered having AC lights etc just want enough to keep the battery topped up.

Well at the moment it is using the standard Vespa unit as the fan doesn't come on ,just can't get the scoot hot enough as the air flow is doing it's job and the rad sensor is rated at 100C.So all the battery is running is the pump which is only on for a minute or so and the idea was to get some miles /time on the scoot and see how the battery copes with the option of the Wassel conversion should the need arise.I'll be in touch if so,thanks.

be careful you dont run it to cold as there is an optimum temp for engines to run at for minimum wear and best performance.
if you are happy with and it works for you thats fine

As it is now the riding temps are around 75C , 60 to 80mph with a max seen on the temp gauge of mid 80'sC in 30mph traffic so looking good. System now runs a thermostat.
