My temp sender cable that fits onto the bit that goes under the spark plug has broke well the threaded bit has any ideas if I can either get a new one or strip this back and wind wire around engine cowling nut

My button has broken off my Speedo so I've emailed SIP asking if it it can be replaced? Anyone under 15 with great eye sight could probably solder it....

They must sell spares lol I had it fitted to engine cowling nut and didn't have enough slack whilst engine moved its snapped part of thread . I've got a tiny bit left but I'd like to renew whole new cable / wire

I'd have thought that the bit that screws into the plug ring will be a thermocouple type sensor so wrapping the wires round something isn't likely to be any good.

Did you check the sip website for spares or email them?
