175 conversion

150 to 175 iron barrel, which make piston of should I go for?

Asso / Vertex with 2 thin rings... a good clean rebore and then Honed to size.. 8-)

cool, apart from a bore and hone what else do i need to do? re-profile head,increase port sizes,check port times,check squish anything else or all of the above?

you could fit a std 175 head or skim and profile 150 head to suit.... as for porting I would at least widen the exhaust port....but no more than 62% as the rings are cast....

make sure you get a conversion piston not a std TV one :oops:
part number wise id just go for a piston from a main dealer they will know what it is
