Ok, so there is a difference in the bore, but what about the degrees of the transfer ports? Are they different? How about the swept volume, is it also different? Does anyone have the two in front to measure them?
Best regards,

Look in stickys book, you can just measure between the fins to see what barrel it is.
The TV has much bigger ports that are quite easy to spot.

Well, indeed, but what Sticky's book doesn't say is if there is a difference between the distance from the top of the barrel to the exhaust port and from the top of the barrel to the transfer ports. That is what I meant with my question, excuse me if I wasn't all the way clear.

From the top of the barrel to the exhaust port on the Tv 42mm. From top of Gp 150 barrel to top of exhaust port 41mm.
Top of tranfer on Tv barrel 47mm Top of tranfer on Gp barrel 47mm
Hope this helps

so port volume is radically different then being the only substancial difference? Also, con rod lenght on the engine really does not change the stroke, since piston copes with it having the holes for the small end higher up?
Oh! and I second corrado's question... any differences between the two?
