Ive had a quick look on here and couldnt find an answer and LCGB seems to be down the last couple of days (???)

I dont think my legshields are gonna be cost effective to get properly put right after getting knocked off so was wondering which type of legshields to get?
Any series 3?
Anyone have any good old ones or recommend some decent fitting repros?
Its a 78 S reg, dont think they are chrome ring are they? None fitted at mo and not stripped bike down to check but the bottom of the headset would scrape on the top of the horncast.

A 78 jet will have chrome ring legshields/headset fitted ,but without the chrome ring. If that makes sense.

Cheers eibarlad, has it been fitted with none chrome ring thats causing the catching? The steering lock never reached far enough to work too.

get a good metalworker or body guy to repair those leggies. ive had much worse and the repro ones arent as good. Tony at Absolutely scooters is really good and the welding can be ground back to level. best spending the money and keeping the original kit. all brackets etc can be straightened and reattached.
