Well it looks like its siezed

Had the scooter 5 days and now its buggered.

Went and took the Mrs into town today, no problem (well only the wont start when hot without bumping it problem)
Got a phone call and had to nip out to collect something so jumps on the scoot, put it in first bumped it down the road started no problem. Giving it a few revs to keep it going and it stopped!! Thought it had just stalled again so tried bumping it again but rear wheel was locked up. Took it out of gear and tried to kick it over and the kick start wont budge. (not quite solid but not enough to really talk about). So its looking seized in my limited knowledge. Am i missing something..................................

big end! try rocking the scooter back and forth in gear and watch the flywheel through the cowl,
your still going to have to strip it what ever.

It might be worth checking the stator, I had something similar on the way to Ireland this year. The scoot had been running fine until I stopped to put some air in the rear tyre then on re-starting it jammed up so tried bumping and it just got worse. Found that the mounting screw had come out of the pickup and jammed against the flywheel but not before it had wiped out most of the coils

If a tooth has broken off it can jam the gearbox so that it will not turn over by kicking it or pushing it. It seems like a bit too much of a coincidence that after bumping it off it locked up so........you know what f@@k it i cant be arsed just go with the keyboard warriors :frog:
