Saving a frame from the Rag and Bone Man

Got some pics here of a frame I'm repairing ,OMG its baaaaaad :wtf:

The frame is mounted in the jig ,all the bad areas have been cut out now and cleaned up ready for the next stage,which is to cut out a section from a donar frame and then weld it in place.
I will post more pics as the repairs progress.

got a donor frame and cut a section out ready for welding in.

frame all tack welded in place with engine in frame to check alignment making sure the engine lines up with the frame at the rear end.

Bloody hell have you got nothing better to do ??.. Spending all that time in the garage away from the mrs is seriously bad for your health.........but then again!!! :D

I put a strengthening piece in like the spanish jet frame has.

Frame end bracket for side panels was broken so i managed to save it and weld back into place.

Well that was a lot of work so I'm off for a well earned beer now :fb: !!!!!!!!!!
