Just left work, tried to start GT, there was a small pop and now instead of starting it groans a little for a second then nothing
lights come on, fiddled with the plug cap, cant even see how to change plugs (its dark and raining now anyway)
I know f@@k all about these!!

its a GT125 with a Malossi 210

had another look, the airfilter? big black thing on left hand side seemed loose

could it be the battery? Ive never had a scooter with a battery before

batteries flat as a pancake gadge! getta quality trickle charger keep battery fully charged and in tip top condition it,s a must on auto's.....

Agreed, sounds like a duff battery. My GTS 250 gives similar problems from time to time but will usually just about get going if I leave it a few minutes and try again. It needs to be on the full stand thoughand I have to open the throttle a fair bit but it willusually start spinning and eventually catch. I sohould fir a newe battery too but with a charge it's usually alright for a couple of months. I do carry a pair of jump leads now though

Even replaced the clock battery, now that is a palava !
I generally only use it for long journeys, use a T5 for work, so it goes a few weeks at a time without being used/used much, reckon I need to use it more often
