got scoot out tonight series 2 175 stg4 22mm jetex started second kick as always rode a mile stopped switched off for ten mins then wouldn't start. side panel off no spark (brand new champion plug). Ht lead great spark cap is a new one after it did the same coming back from brid. Changed spark plug good spark, back in fired up rode another half mile to gym left it an hour and wouldn't start again. So plug out good spark wouldnt start tried bumping everything but no joy. I would automatically think blocked jet etc but new supressor cap and plug fixed it two weeks ago. Any advice much appreciated. Wondered if it could be the cdi but as I say good spark when cap taken off.

thanks for that I'm hoping it is that its the fact the brand new champion didn't have a spark that threw me and the plug wasn't that wet which i suppose could be starter jet blocked. I went to brid 120 plus miles no bother same back 5 miles from home stopped for petrol then wouldn't start wouldn't even run on easy start. As i say changed plug and cap went first kick since then. Ill give the carb a clean. Thanks again for the info will try that ta
