I think I read something along the lines of the manufacturer not being very co-operative with solving the issues with it and the project has been shelved, but why not call or email MB?

Why don't they just do a deal with SIP? Or would it be a conflict of interests as they are involved with Scooter Centre?

Not designed for a Lammy, but could it be made to work? a la Smiths Chrono? Think its for a car, so need to find out about waterproofness. I supose its all solid state so maybe vibration would be less of a problem?

Yup, bang on! I had a bit more of a perusal after I posted. The one you pointed out is water resistant but has no trip function. Seems to be one or the other?
