You have to cut the frame and weld it in? Who will do this, is it sure that the frame is straight after that?

i am a little concerned the sleeve part that fits inside the lammy tube is a little short

The slug is 25mm long and will be drlled and tig welded ,compared to the rest of the lambretta design features ie two bars welded together to make the original engine mount then i can guarentee that one of those welds would fail first ,plus i have the hindsight to know what else fits to it !

as long as your cool with it then so am i ...i have to addmit though the biggest fear regarding a lammy is how the stem to fork leg is simply reliant on the weld ...yet i have seen forks bent right back without this weld failing and have seen chop forks at a stupid lenght so much so that they flex rather the any suspention going on but have never heard any one say that they have had forks break on them
