yes,thinking if cutting it along the edge and putting an

inch strip in, this will give an extra 1/3 capacity

If your going to that effort. Why not make a tank. That way it fits and looks like it should. With some thought you can hide a lot ilof stuff in it. I designed one for somebodies bike build. Was an oil tank. But same theory. Battery and electrics in the top of it. Then when fitted nothing on show.
heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it does fail, hit them with it!!!

think i'll leave it in rocho's capable hands to mount the subframe to the

frame and to sort a few more mods out :)

going to get a few brackets made to mount shock and seat loop,also a few more

bits in the pipeline then its time for the engines turn,need a few parts to finish off

but,hopefully won't be too long,happy new year

been a bit busy but,heres a couple of updates of the build,lee has almost finished

the subframe welding a couple of cross members to the frame

and with the seat loop re fitted

hopefully by the end of the week the laser cutter wiil have made the bracket for the

shock mount
