external front suspension

Greetings, I was wondering where people get the suspension setups that they use on the lambretta forks, the complete shock on the outside, not just the damper
anyone tried the suspension from monkey bikes etc??
I have a set of bare forks and so thought it easier to just go with that setup rather than buy all the bits to go inside the legs etc
will probably make my own links as Im going to be running 15mm axle, unless I find alternative bearings, but at least if I make my own links, I can make sure the bolt for the shock is welded properly, and the axle hole will be full circle.

The monkey bike dampers on a lambretta fork are much too stiff for a good suspension.

ok cool thanks, any info is good info, so who supplies the kits I keep seeing fitted to peoples scooters?
are they hard on the front end?
I like to have suspension that works.

Yeah, they don´t use monkey bike ones. They look similar, but are much smoother in damping!

Tony I can't comment yet on how they handle but Frank has sold hundreds of sets so far. Mick, as Ric says they do fit with a standard mudguard.
