what set up?

just wondering what set up i need for up gearing as im putting on my over size sip wide wheel kit, its the 120/90 tyre, so not as wide as the 130/70 just a lot taller so need my malossi to pull with this on

i have heard that its best to use my p2 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear and put t5 4th on, but which amount of teeth for my clutch?

whats the standard set of teeth on a cosa clutchfor a px200? and which one do i move to for my set up?

also don't worry about the cosa, im getting a cnc milled basket to stop the problems with them falling apart due to the power.

any info would be much appreciated

cheers

Std P2 primarys is 23/65 (2.82:1), I know people have fitted a 22 clutch to a 65 primary but they dont mesh properly.
Best/only way is to go 22/68 (3.09:1)
Im running a 37 tooth 4th gear in one of my bikes if you still find it struggles to pull the 36.

Billet Cosa baskets are a waste of money and too heavy (imho). The problem with Cosa clutches is the rivets that hold the centre together, not the baskets.
Go old style clutch. (see other thread in Vespa section)
