Best Way Of Fitting An RGV Mudguard ?

Can anyoe suggest the best / ideal way of fitting an RGV mudguard to a set of Lambretta forks ??

cranky some pics attached of how I fit them be carfull though as if you just sit the recess against the forks the nose of the mudguard points upwards I cut a bit out so it sits flat.

frank can you supply brackets with the mudguard what is cost for both cheers peter

You don't have to get your forks welded. You could make a bracket from the back (or the front if you wanted) of the damper mount, as the bottom edge of the front part of the RGV sits roughly flush with the mount. You could use the hole that's in the mount and maybe drill another smaller one alongside that you could put a rivet through.

You'd probably need to do this second hole to stop the mudguard moving about.

This is what I plan to do on mine as I have a rebuilt set of forks that have been powder coated :roll: . I've seen others done similarly.
