Evenin' all.
I've just been given a GP 200. it's in a right state, but tinworks in pretty good shape.
Question is, is it Italian or Indian?
Engine # 253508*
Frame# 22/0 2020717* (followed by DG643/7011 IN smaller lettering)
cheers
Indian or Italian Lambretta?
I think you need to have a closer look at the numbers, because there seems to be too many for an Italian frame and not enough for an Indian. The prefix shows it is a GP150 frame, could (DG643/7011) actually be DGM6437OM, if so this would be correct for an Italian GP150.http://www.britishlambrettaarchive.co.u ... -info.html
yes if there is a dgm number it is italian ...care to post a pic ??

Thanks guys,
Further research confirms it is indeed Italian -so a 150 frame with a GP injin. Photo? its just a box of buggered bits, but I'm not phased coz as I've just resto'd a series 1, so I know anything that's damaged, missing, rusted out will have to be replaced anyway.
On that note, can I sing the praises of the Csa 186 kit? And casa electronic ignition? I can't be believe my '59 lamby runs so well. Fantastic!
