the s type one i,m thinking of is flat and bigger than alot of todays sprint racks they were on a lot of scoots in the 70s

Nice racks. I have one myself. There were quite a few of them around a few years ago. Don't know where they came from or who made them.

Scootopia and taffspeed remade them a few years ago then nick Tolley had them remade by the original manufacturers. There's still a few knocking about at various dealers if you ring around. I would try scootopia in Weston super mare.

That's right. I seem to remember it was the aforementioned Mr Tolley I got mine off.
