Clubman pipes - Again

I know we've discussed this before but the more I read the more confused I get. What is the best performing clubman that I can actually buy without a long wait or a personal friendship with the manufacturer?
The Ron Moss Avanti is £250 and appears to be permanently out of stock.
The Gori 38mm is around £300 and appears to be permanently out of stock.
The Gori 48mm is around £300 and appears to be permanently out of stock. Plus, having followed one once, the noise is deafening.
The Cam Lam Ancillotti is £180 and having owned one, I know its a bloody good pipe but falls to bits after ten minutes
The good old Indian big bore is as cheap as chips and very well made but is way down on performance compared to the Ancillotti
Any I've missed that can actually be bought and are worth considering?
(I'm running a 240cc Mugello with and LTH reed block and 30mm carb - It pulls like a train and is a joy to ride)

Have you seen the new AF clubman ?
Looks like the cam lam ancillotti but half the price ?

Can you test it so I can decide if ill use one when my Ancillotti finally disintegrates

At that price it might be worth a punt. When I swapped the dead Ancillotti for an Indian big bore I had to drop three jet sizes and move the needle down a notch just to get it to run

the ron moss pipe is a really superb revving clubman
a lot of people didnt like the quality of welding though - mine is ok and fit for purpose, im having a bespoke header pipe made to tweak the charecteristics
the ancillotti clubman works well and has a new type header pipe design to try and stop the failure issues of the austenitic front end.
time will tell if the modification resolves the issues
broady has got a new clubman coming out in the spring (maybe april) we will have to wait and see how it performs against the ron moss as i believe this one sets the bar
alternatively give ralf a bell and see if you get get a rs clubman - a mate in our club has got one and he swears by it - hes had it since the last ice age and its still going strong

ps its the inside design and header pipe length thats important - the old 48mm clubman back to back against the ron moss dyno readings are poles apart - im sure the ron moss uses the indian big bore shell

short header pipe helps it rev; shallow long front cone spreads power; that's what I was reliably informed; but what's inside the box is still a mystery to me,

Give a look at this:
http://www.mitolambretta.com/product_in ... cts_id=197
Had a 50mm gori on my RT240 with 19,3hp and 20nm of torque.
Only the change of pipe gave me 20hp and 24nm of torque and is really quiet more than a standard clubman!
Pulls really well my sx200 box with 16x46!

Nice. It does make sense to slip joint with springs IMHO.

Nice but it rather defeats the object of the exercise which was a standard looking pipe. I'd have thought that that design would also blow muck all over your scoot.

Are they stainless and available in the UK?
