Is it worth upgrading the standard 7-spring (23T) clutch on my bog standard Rally 200 to the 8-spring (23T) Cosa clutch ...?
Some people say the clutch action at the lever is a lot easier, and some people same the Cosa clutch is a lot weaker than the 7-spring type..?
Suggestions, recommendations, experience.. please

If you motor is stock, then the cosa handles the power nicely, doesn't flower open, and is generally smoother, easier and less notchy.
The downsides with the cosa are that they are weaker when it comes to tuned engines that can offer up enough torque to produce all kinds of problems with these clutches.
Banding a cosa can be somewhat of a cure, or purchasing a milled basket that is stronger.
Both styles of clutches do well with stiffer springs, quality friction plates and careful attention to tolerances of the basket turrets and internal bushings.
My experience was that I was very happy with the upgrade to my P200 powered sprint v, but then with a later tune, I found them to be less than optimal, so I have shelved it and am currently using the stock unit on a malossi 210cc.
