is there any info online anywhere regarding the trail etc of the lambretta front end

or does anyone from a racing background have any suggestions what sort of trail figure works well?

my drawings for the bits to make my frame were sent to the waterjet cutters today, so I have turned my attention to the front end.

could just buy a set of lammy forks, but that costs money LOL, and I fancy something different, so I plan sort of backwards forks.

basically springers with the back leg inline with the headstock tube and the axle ahead of it to give the trail, small shocks mounted up front either side, but designing the rocker is why I need to know some dimensions or info? or I guess a big dose of suckitandsee might be needed.

so basically you want leading link ...which begs the question ...do you want a chop type fork or a leading swing arm like a pugeot speed fight /sidecar outfit to go under standard panel work ??

Will be custom chopper type springer forks. But it will have to all be under the gp front muddie. Cheaper to build my own than to buy lambretta ones. Seen the cost of them on ebay. Links etc.all adds up
