well this is mine and dans latest crazy idea ,to have a go at building a "scooterotica"lambretta sprinter.
now I admit that I have never built anything like that before and TBH know feck all about the ins and outs of such things as regards not only the design of these but am also totally ignorant of any rules or regs that we need to follow with such things ..
not that thats going put us off and so could any of you help us in any way at all in any respect ..any tips /advice /recomendations or pointers will be gratefully recieved .
we will try and get it done over the coming winter months ready for next season and of course as with anything else we do here it will have to be done on a tight budget and by mostly just using what we have available ..
and of course its just for the fun of it .

Cool.
If you want to take part in straightliners events, then the first job is to pick a class.
Go to http://www.100mphscooter.com/class-rules.html
Warning: The classes are likely to see a re-jig for next year!
The new classes are yet to be announced, at the moment this is the best guide we have.

Race replica never got started.
Got a new road scoot about 99% ready to roll with a lovely engine installed. Gonna run that in street class (or whatever class it fits into) next year. Will also sprint it......but this scoot will be a bit of a jack of all trades, master of none. The sprinter will be purpose built for the job.
