just wondering and starting to gather parts

I would have liked to stay with 10" wheels to keep the scooter low down, but will do that with the bodywork if people reckon that a 12" wheel is the way forward

I had been looking at the supermoto wheels for the pitbike market, they do some smart alloy rims. Anyone used them or know of a reason not too??

these sort of things??

or these, look great and nice and wide

I would guess that modifying standard scooter wheels would be easiest, ideally front and rear from a disc braked scooter at a guess??

can you advise on the models I need to look for please?

funnily enough i was explaining this to a friend last night ...frank i believe uses the grimeca front wheels of( i think) a typhoon or nrg ,then adapts the centre to accept either a second disc or a sprocket for chain drive ..

this thread will be a help re pics ... http://scooterotica.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=7794

other than that there are quite a few threads on here - http://www.hostingphpbb.com/forum/index ... =seriessix

i must say though the pit bike mags look bob on ...10 " would look better if keeping a full body look though ...i have seen some i think for the xsport pit bikes in 10" and come as a pair though you would need the hub centres for these

take a look at the front wheel here - http://scooterotica.org/forum/viewtopic ... 12&t=15497
