P200 Starting Problem

It's a 1980 standard P200 with nearly 11,000 orginal miles on. It's hard to start when cold. The choke is fine and I've cleaned out the carb. I thought I cured the probelm by changing the original supressor cap but it's too hard to start again after being left for 2 weeks. I'm wondering about the piston rings and if they need replacing????

OK thanks, where's the best place to buy some standard, genuine new rings from?
