whats the train of thought re the frame extension then ?? is this a mod done back in the day and does the extra wheel base give better handling ??

Apparently the model D will handle a lot better with a longer wheel base so I'm told :wtf: ,we will just have to wait and see,I just do as I'm told well usually

Very good work, nice jig you just need a bigger workshop

Me garage has seen its share of work over the years and its cheaper than renting a workshop
The jig is something iv'e been working on for a while and is still ongoing :wtf:

nice jig, and good preperation etc, however just to add my opinion, that slug in the frame, Im assuming is tube, but deffo isnt long enough as far as Im concerned, should be supporting the tube further in.
I would personally want to see on my own builds, frame slugs in tube, ideally the same wall thickness as the frame tube, but the slugs to extend into the frame by about 2 x od
especially with an open top frame like that, the lack of top tube putting so much importance on that tube
