Hi everyone!
I have a problem with the ignition on my lambretta.
it is armed with: Mugello 186 ..
jl escape krp3
crank TV
(lightened 12v electronic ignition) and the problem here.
the mechanism can not operate it properly.
the problem is as follows:
works properly at low speeds, but around 3000 .. the spark is fired for any place .. and short pins 2 times!
hey changed the pickup for a BGM ... and measured the coils (they are ok)
but the problem persists ..
apparently there are problems because it takes the signal sensor but is very sensitive and is trying to get away for a long regimen of 1500 around the spark lost to 220 degrees when the would have to give away to 180 ° "is the famous spark lost in neutral inferior "and that makes the engine detonates.

Does the 2 metal parts of the pickup line up with the 2 magnets on flywheel ?

the sensor already ran the floor and not doing what happens is that the spark is not lost in the bottom dead.
now I have the captor with the board placed on the bike from the front view with the piston at TDC of the captor tenes chabetero 220 ° or 9 and 20 (h)
the starting point but it has lost the spark across the strip instead of throwing it 180 degrees as it should be the test at 220 ° ..
you can change the position of the platelet (stator)?

possibly not completely getting what you are writing, but neither would you if I wrote in your language...
but are you asking if the stator can be moved to alter the firing point ?
then yes.
clockwise to retard
anti-clockwise to advance

Thanks Mark.
In the photo that you posted, is the stator in the correct position? I noticed that the pick-up is at around 4/5 o'clock, is that the correct position or should it be in other?
If it should be in another position, does anyone have a photo showing how it should be?
