Casing was powder coated and overspray got into lugs that silent blocks go. Should I just use some fine emery to take down the overspray back to ally carefully, or use Notromors? Don't want to try putting new blocks in and feck the casing
Don't want to have sloppy blocks either
Also, do any of you use a bit of grease to help the blocks in?

Ive used light emery to remove slight overspray from powder coat with good results...just make sure you remove the powder coat only..

Having spent hours stripping powdercoat in the past I was chuffed to discover recently that if you just apply thinners or gunwash to the areas in question ,after a short while the coating can be peeled off with a scraper.
