Evening all, I'm looking to permanently fix an LI/SX rear light unit onto a GP frame so that I can blend the rear light into the frame to give it that smooth frenched look, but looking fro ideas as tothe bexst way to go about this.

Obviously I know it can't be welded on as the light unit is ally and the frame steel, so would I be right in saying the only way to achieve this would be to braze the light unit to the frame or are there any otehr ways of doing it (other than superglue!!! )

probably the easiest way would be to bolt it on as normal, then fibre glass over join............
dont think you can braize ally to steel.................

Thanks for the quick reply Sean. I did think of doing that but wondered if the fbreglass may crack with the vibrations!!

I don't think you can lead load alloy. It's difficult enough getting alloy to stick to alloy.

Jason Frost at Absolutely Scooters in Sheffield will probably know, he's bound to have done a few of them.
