strengthening standard seat springs

thinking of getting a guilari std series 3 seat but not sure the standard springs will cope with two up and near 30 stone possibly.
anyone "doubled up" on the long springs to strengthen/stiffen the seat?
any other suggestions or advice greatly appreciated
