Running a GT206 & had the con rod snap a couple of weeks back, rebuilt it ok but I guess it damaged the piston as it has crumbled down 1 side. The problem I now have is that it has caused the barrel skirt to crack vertically about a cm long on each side, also a crack going horizontally about 1.5 cm at the base of 1 of the cracks. The skirt has a thicker part and then thins out, all the cracks are in the thin part, hope that makes sense. Anyway, it's kind of an old faithful, a lovely ride so I don't want to give up on it, is there anything I can do, or rather get done that can save it.
