I've picked up a cev rev-counter.
Only trouble its missing the wires that reads the pulse.
What wire attaches to the red & grey, is it specific wire?
Can it be made or does it need buying in. :?

It is a little round one.
I've had the battery charger out & the gauge back light works. BONUS.
I just need to extend the red & Grey wires that stick out the back & end with bullet connectors.
Is it just the case of using the same gauge wire & rapping both around to carry the pulse?

It came with no instructions & the guy whom had it didn't know if it worked!

the guage picks up the minute extra pulses from the ign which are naturally generated in the lighting circuit thats why the red has to connect into the lighting circuit and the black/grey is the earth some vespas used this as standard

Ill take some pics for you.

I bought it from an old bike shop today, went down to get a chain-saw chain sharpened.
The old chap told me it was ordered for a guy who never returned to collect it.

Its got a ink stamp on the back "7-85" I don't know if this is the month & year of Manufacture.
Body width is 60mm
face width is 65mm
Total length 61mm
length minus the face & lip 53mm
Sorry about the size of the pics.
