smoke/vapour comming from carb (air intake)

Been running an open mouth carb with an MB ram-air filter stuck to inside of my panel (clearence issues with my old breathe sweet on my new imola).
After a good run i notice quite a lot of vapour/smoke comes out of the carb.
Just wondered if anyone knows what causes this, and is it normal??
Its suffereing from a touch of 4 stroking at high revs at the moment and i wondered if this could have contributed to it.
