Has anyone on here ever painted a Lambretta matt grey and have any photos they can post. I´m doing a series 2 at the moment and was wondering what colours go well with battleship grey.

Hi Magalluf,

My series one is predominantly battleship grey (gloss not matt though), but im not sure if I would choose to put blue with it if I was to do it again, possibly bright yellow or red maybe?

Yeah maybe... I just found this picture and I think the blue looks quite nice from this angle.

Maybe I've just got too used to the blue now. I still love the grey though :D

the bike that steve is painting it's mine and that series 1 was my inspiration and the reason I choose grey but this one will go with some racing numbers and matt blackrims and drums... and I steve wants to add some pinstriping I will be more than happy.... and by the way, it's a winter model!!

Im in the process of doing some home brew paint and pinstriping myself so will be good to see how you get on. I have a winter model next on wish list so looking forward to seeing how yours comes out. Im thinking Aston gun metal grey, Aston silver birch (the oo7 aston with ejector seat colour) and black as a 3 colour scheme.
