hello
got a new 30mm VHSH dellorto for a ts1
does it need "blueprinting" of the inlet above the float jet ie taking out the half moon hole to a full circle to stop any possible fuel starvation problems?
cheers
mick

Never touched my one, and it's been on couple years now , and is held at pretty high speeds. Just make sure you have a 300/350 float valve.

saves owing the driller in the machine shop at work a pint lol
the carb came with a 300 float - its what ive got in the PHBH coming off so should be ok
have you still got the plastic fuel filter tube under the inlet or have you removed it?
cheers

i wonder if the normal PHBH idle jets will work as the idle jet that came with the carb is really tall (looks like same thread etc)

Pretty sure they dont fella , there's actually 2 jets on the idle circut, normal looking one at the top and below a emulsion tube. I run a 60 top and b40 tube.

the large one on the left is the 60 that came with the carb, the small one on the right is a PHBH one

Yes that's the emulsion tube , very fine blade screwdriver will get it out , people have run without the larger jet before , but it acts as a funnel to supply the tube if you know what i mean?
