Evening all, I have just fitted a Michelin S1 100/90 to a scootrs tubeless rim and it's rubbing on the engine case, this did'nt happen with the wide rim i had before. Will this be the case with every tubeless rim or is it just an issue with the scootrs ones? I want to stick with tubeless rims and the 100/90 tyre combo. Any advice or comments very welcome. Thanks Pete

I already have the MB washer fitted and it's still rubbing. It never done it with the wide rim I had fitted before, it's only a problem with the scootrs tubeless.

A standard rim width is 2.1" whereas a ShiteRS tubeless rim is 2.5", dunno what a "wide" rim is, but a SIP tubeless rim is also 2.1"

I run a Schwalbe Raceman 100/90 on a ScootRS tubeless, and have no problems with clearance.

They do a few bits that are good, and I still buy rubbers & runners, GS glovebox (which ain't great, but serves a purpose) and kickstarts, usually through a UK supplier though, but I do think their rims are shite, and their attitude to safety and liability stinks.10 inch Terror wrote:Not a fan of their stuff then :bigsm:soulsurfer wrote: whereas a ShiteRS tubeless rim
