varitronic flywheel shearing rivetts
on the way back from mersea on my normaly reliable tv 200 i broke down and after ivestigating found the rivetts on the flywheel had all sheered trashing flywheel and stator, there were 6 rivetts holding it together, ive bought a new one and noticed they now have 8 rivetts so hope this will solve the problem of rivetts working lose, has anyone else had this problem ?

Is it a standard TV 200, how old is the fly wheel.
it has a megello 200 topend and not sure how old flywheel is cos was on there when i bought it about 3 years ago, have done several thousand mile on it trouble free. i bought a new varitronic kit and noticed they have 8 rivetts now as on old one mine only 6 so hope this improvement will stop them coming lose.
