If you want a smooth finish, it will involve slow and labourious work, I'd use an easy sand filler sanded back with 60 or 80 grit production paper and top it off with a few coats of 2 pack primmer mixed 1:1. A mate of mine dis this on the inside of his bonnet and got a better finish that the outside of mine

hi,that was one of my options i thought of, but as you said slow and labourious was hoping for an easy fix but arnt we all. cheers soupy

there is also dolphin glaze which is a lot thinner and can be smoothed over a lot easier

Try a good polly primer,then flat with 180 then 240 grit dry, then prime with 2k primer, flat with 600 or 800 wet and dry, hard work, but will cover all the rough inside,god luck.

hi soupy-whats it like? im thinking about getting one to restore my cut down. are they strong?
what would you say about side panels-more f/glass or steel?
