Decided to re-ring my TS1 and whilst apart went through all the hassle to modify a Monza centre squish head to match a Racetour piston and set the comp/squish and dowels.Get every thing bolted up and find the head cowl won't go down properly so shorten the lower MB head nut, still won't fit .The fins are too wide so sort them with an alloy rasp but then find the plug hole on the cowl doesn't line up to get the plug spanner in,so alter head cowl again till sorted.Refit the rear shock and then find the plug cap is a tight fit to the frame WTF. So who was the bright spark who designed such sh*te that isn't fit for purpose? My next job is to have an insert fitted into the 14mm threads then go to 10mm plug like the MMW heads, at least the Germans know what they're doing  One thing I did find is the power seems harder with the new head and an annoying stutter I had in the lower revs seems to have gone :? Anyone else come across this problem or is it a duff head?
