Thanks in advance, Gary 8-)

Hi, Just fitted one to my GP fitted with a PWK carb, the side panel presses against the filter but does not seem to cause running problems at the moment. I can only assume it breathes through the sides as well as the end as I expected it to kill the engine due to lack of air. I am kinda happy with it as long as the engine runs ok and it dont fall apart or damage panel finish etc. Was expecting a bit more clearance but hey there's only so much room under those panels. Hope this helps.

Hi
I've had one in the garage for a fews weeks and after seeing your post it reminded me so I fitted it on my GP. It runs a PHBH 28 through an elbow with a Ram Air on top in the space vacated by the airbox. My theory was to try the Marchald filter to see if it cleaned up the bottom end.

Unfortunately, the filter was crushed under the panel and it was like running with the choke on, so the Ram Air is back on. :(

I didn't have a lot of time to fiddle with it today, but maybe I'll try it without the panel later to see how it performs.

HTH
