i have two faulty bulb holders for a vega, both ironically have failed on the main bulb where the blue terminal is, (1 is loose the other off completely)
on fitting a new and unused one on to my latest project that does not seem great either
any ideas as to where i could get some of them rivets, or a better way of fixing / mending ?

I've used those tiny nuts and bolts (out of old computers etc) to great effect to secure terminals etc

From memory, the replacement "NOS" (oh yeah!!) bulb holder, had loose rivets on the main bulb side. These copper rivets had been attached with a pop rivet type tool, and sonsequently had small holes where they were attached. I simply obtained some tiny nuts and bolts out of a scrap PC, and bolted the rivets into the holder- worked perfectly.

Also did the same on a rear light unit which had an intermitent fault on the contacts to the bulb

the clips are on the headlight jaime, it might be possible to silicone the holder to the headlight, or perhaps make some clips or try something like these (look similar but not tried / measured to see any difference)

bristolmod i think i know what your on about... is it removing the rivet and inserting a small screw down the otherside of the rivet head and a nut where the rivet head would have been?
