Offset cones on an Imola (S3 with S2 shock).

Ive got standard cones in there at the moment, im also using a S2 shock from MB on my S3.
Clearance on the inlet is very tight.

Im wondering if a propper S3 shock on there plus offset cones will help bring the front of the engine down to aid clearance.

Are there any offsets to avoid? I see they vary in price a bit.

clearance was fine with standard cones and the existing shock, had more than enough room.
thanks for the advice though.

I agree with Mark . ;)

Short of glueing/grub screwing them in (which defeats their purpose ) I could not stop them turning so i fitted a shorter shock and trimmed the manifold to gain the clearence i needed.
