Engine Cases In Hot Caustic Tank

Got some S2 cases absolutely caked in crap that even a jetwash wont touch, are they okay in a hot caustic tank or will they disintegrate?

try a bucket of diesel ,gunk ....then when Mrs surfer is out ...the dishwasher

Get them vapour blasted. There is a place in Yarmouth called CDR i think and cheap. If you go down this route make sure you clean them thoroughly afterwards.

I usually do vapour blast, I tried a different blaster but he wouldn't do them as there was so much greasy crud that it would contaminate the system and possibly damage it. I may try another blaster, there's a few near me.

A big bucket, like an old home brew barrel, half filled with diesel, and leave it in a week, turn it round and leave it another week, that"ll shift most shite. and dont start a thread on "are home brew barrels diesel proof".
