Just sitting on my arse thinking " what's next to do?", as you do, and wonder what's the minimum needed in the engine casing to give a rolling rear wheel to a frame?
Engine mounts, rear hub bearing, layshaft, endplate & bearing(?), hub & rim, git the front end covered, but anything else needed or not needed for a rolling chassis at the back end?

as I often have engine-less bikes around, and need to shuffle them about, I made a frame up out of some bits of square section, welded some bits of a cut about shock, an engine bolt and a front axle, and fitted an old front hub...

Which reminds me, I must take the old shock out of the scrap bin for this purpose. It needs to have the correct ride height to check for side stand mounting on the frame.
