Any ideas anyone.jetting always a weak point with me!.basically just built my jet200 with the following....taffy honda 205,jl3,new 30phbh solid mount.jetted as follows.55 pilot,70choke,40slide,x7 needle,av264 atomisor(was266).problem is boggs out on low revs.got to give it a fistfull and slip clutch to pull away.af supplied carb and i would have thought it was about right really .maybe its not jetting and cdi is iffy.seems when its under load pulling away.i have moved needle clip from 2nd clip to 3rd and seems a little better.any thoughts much appreciated peeps!

What's the main jet..rest doesn't seem far away 2 nd clip seems about the norm..

Main is 128.im seriously wondering if it is the cdi.not a new one and theres a reason its not on a scooter!!!

Could be as your main doesn't seem far away..looking in the lam carb set ups and Lloydys set ups it seems a mixture of between 122 and 130..you could experiment if you have jets below and above 128 but as you will know be mind full of the plug colour frequently to fend off any leaning

Yeah,got loads of jets.going to order a decent cdi first.the one on it came out of a box that was left over from empire when i was there.got a feeling i removed it from a customers scoot because of this problem!!!

Hmmm!just because it looks new doesnt mean it works!

try a 50 pilot.

Might try that .its only up to 1/4 throttle that it does it.

Right then,...new cdi(ducati).a 53 pilot as cant find a 50.and dropped needle to top clip.goes like stink but could still do with fettling.maybe the 50 pilot should sort it.....until ts kits are back anyway!!
