I've just fitted a Series 2 CDI and regulator bracket from Rich Presley which is a snazzy piece of kit and tidies up the electrics as well as fitting well - see http://www.richpresley.co.uk/series-1-- ... t-70-p.asp
Whilst waiting for my engine to be rebuilt I thought Id attempt to connect the loom to the Regulator/ CDI and in the headset to tidy things up and so i can drop the engine in and connect the stator wires and away we go but I seem to have too many wires!
I have 3 sets of wires at the back of the loom and no idea where they go as they dont seem to correspond to the colours on the electronic diagrams I have off the web! Im not sure if its the loom im using or what.
Anyone have a S2 wiring diagram for electronic - Im sure this was easier on my S3 then again Im sure there werent this many wires!
Cheers

Is it possible to use a simplified loom as on gps on series 2..can you get the correct feed for the headlight configuration ..? It would make it easier.

I have four groups one that I've taken to the back light and then 3 other groups of wires? Wondering if they are for indicators?
