just wondering if the spaq disc brakes are as bad as some people make out or are they practicle to use?
,i read the articles in scootering but the lads that i know who are using them have had no probs
what are your thoughts/experiences

used them and fitted them for others no issus with the later obes with nissin calipers

Had one on my GP for over 18mths now. Nissin caliper. Used daily, no problems. Only issue is the supplied rubber hose. Rubbish. Make sure you fit braided hose and also genuine Nissin pads, better than the supplied ones.
had one on my gp for 5 years... fitted a goodridge hose at the time,
and only recently fitted the new style caliper mount(on corrados advice) which makes it easier to centre the wheel, the caliper mount is scootrs the rest is the original spaq even the pads,don't know if the caliper is genuine nissin or not but it works great and to be honest the lammy stops better than my disc lml and my wifes disc et4 which both have the gilera set up

I got one nice bit of kit would agree with bigmuff worst thing is the rubber hose.......
